I found your blog while searching for how much diatomaceous earth to feed a cow, and I'm fascinated! We have 29 acres in northwest Georgia where we have lived for a year and a half. We moved here with my two Tennessee Walkers, a dog, a cat and two ferrets. We've added four chickens, another dog and most recently, our first Dexter cow. Our plan is to raise our own grassfed beef and milk our cow, too--one of the nice things about Dexters! We have a garden and a small orchard, and we're already enjoying our free-range eggs. We're trying to be as natural as possible, so I'll be following your blog with great interest!
