We harvest calf crops based on supply and demand. Contact us to reserve your order of a whole, half, or split quarter today. To secure your order, we will need a non-refundable deposit of $100.00. We will send you email reminders as the harvest date approaches. This gives you ample time to prepare for a large amount of meat. Pricing We sell our grass-fed and finished calves for $3.50 a pound based on hanging carcass weight. This is after the hide, entrails, etc. are removed. In general this is 65% of the weight of the animal on hoof. Example: So, a 850 pound calf's weight would be approximately 552 pounds. A quarter of this would be about 138 pounds at $3.50 a pound comes to $483.00 plus processing. Processing usually ends up being about $.53 a pound; therefore, this would approximately be $73.00. for this scenario, your total would be $556.00 for over 100 pounds of nutritious, natural beef. This, of course, is an estimate as each animal varies, but it is a good guide to let you know what to expect. You will be responsible for paying the meat processing plant.
