We would like to thank Chris Meighen of Huntsville, Texas, for purchasing our heifer Cross Creek 38. She is now called Show Girl. Show Girl is out of one of our donor cows, D.C.B. 3169. Chris has done well with this heifer.  Congratulations, Chris on winning the following:

Chris Meighen is also showing Cross Creek 50.
 At her debut showing which took place February 8, 2001 at the San Antonio Livestock Show, she took third in her class.  The next month, in a JBBA Show in Three Rivers, Texas, Cross Creek 50 won Grand Champion Calf and Reserve Champion Overall. Then in the State Fair of East Texas in Tyler, Cross Creek 50 won Overall Grand Champion. Cross Creek 50 also won Reserve Grand Champion Overall at a JBBA Show in Lake Charles, LA in 10/2001. At the Red River Beefmaster Marketing Group Junior Heifer Show held March 16, 2002, Cross Creek 50 with her bull calf, won Reserve Grand Champion Senior Division.

On August 16, 2002 Cross Creek 50 won Reserve Champion, Class VI Senior Division, in the Miss Beefmaster America Futurity held in Marietta, GA.

Cross Creek 50 calved at 22 months of age and bred back at 24 months. She is a **Classic Cotton daughter out of our 3169 donor cow. Frozen embryos of this same mating are available. The following photo was taken of Cross Creek 50 when we weaned her.

Chase White from Goodrich, Texas recently purchased Cross Creek 190. Chase and his heifer just took 2nd place in their class at the 2002 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Chase's heifer is a daughter of Cross Creek 135.

In March, Chase and Cross Creek 190 won 1st place and 1st Place Overall Beefmaster in Livingston, Texas. Congratulations, Chase!!!!

Thanks to Steven Siracusa for his confidence in our breeding program. He purchased Cross Creek 10 and Cross Creek 60, and has done well.

Congratulations to Kara Castanon of Willis, Texas for purchasing Cross Creek 20. Kara and her heifer won a second place award at the 2001 Montgomery County Fair. A commercial cattleman bought Cross Creek 20 at the Montgomery County Replacement Heifer Sale; she was the highest selling heifer!
